WHAT TO EXPECT
When you come to Church Alve you will quickly find a warm, friendly group of people committed to making church exciting, enjoyable, and most of all, life-changing. Its never easy to visit a new church so we want to be as helpful as we can to make sure your experience is a good one.
Before The Service
How should I dress? We are often asked that question. The answer is a simple one...however you are most comfortable. We have some folks who dress up and others who come casual.
We invite you to come early, grab a cup of coffee, tea or orange juice, get a bagel, granola bar, or muffin and get to know some of the friendly folks at Church Alive.
services
We offer two Sunday service options, one at 9:30 and the other at 11:15 am. Each service is unique and has its own flavor. Because of time limitations each service is designed to last about 75 minutes, though the second service sometimes lasts a little longer. We don't drag things out but we do welcome the moving of the Spirit and try to minister to all who come for prayer.
nursery
Our nursery, called the "Launch Pad" is clean, safe, fun and staffed with loving workers. Nursery opens about 15 minutes before each service.
The Service
worship
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. We have live upbeat worship with guitars, drums -the works, as well as more intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in their own unique way – for many, that means singing & clapping, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You’re welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
offering
Each week there is a time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. This is an act of worship and appreciation to God for HIs goodness. It also gives Church Alive the financial means to reach more people for Christ in the future.
the children
We love the idea of the worship experience being something that we do as a family. So, our children remain in the main service until after the worship is over. They are then taken to the KAVE, our secure, creative, fun-filled and age sensitive children's ministry. Please pick up you children promptly follow the service.
the message (sermon)
Every weekend, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.
communion
Once a month, we celebrate communion together. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer – as long they’ve made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven. We also have special prayer for the sick and those with specific needs.
altar call
After most every service Pastor Tim invites those who would like to accept Jesus as Lord as well as those desiring special prayer to the front. Our trained Elders and their wives join him and Pastor Mimi as they pray and minister to all those with needs.
After The Service
visit the welcome center
As a guest, you'll be asked to fill out a Connection Card during the service. Everyone fills out a card and drops it in the offering plate. Stop by the Welcome Center following the message and pick up a free gift. You can also find out more about the ministries and beliefs of our church.
pick up your kids
Please pick your children up as soon as service is over. For their safety we cannot release them to anyone except the parents.
get a coffee
Because we all know you can’t ever drink too much coffee, grab another one and get to know us a little better
